The superintendent sent home a letter with information yesterday 3/16. Student's have to sign in by 9:30 AM EACH DAY - starting today 3/17. I will be available for office hours/support from 9am - 1pm Monday 3.16 - Friday 3.20.

I am available via email or message on Classtag during that time. If you need additional support, I can always call. I understand with the students being out of school, the academic support falls on parents. I individualized packets so all the support your child should need would be which page they have to do on which day & directions. All assignments your child should be able to do independently. These assignments will be handed in an graded. Again, should you have any questions or need support do not hesitate to reach out!

ELA:

Students will have a daily reading log where they are required to read 10 minutes per day. In addition, when new sight words are introduced, they will have a choice board to help them practice at home.

Math: 

With each new unit, a parent letter will be sent home to explain what your child will be learning at that time. Math homework will be assigned daily. 

We just completed the first week of school and learned all about rules and procedures. Students in our classroom are working on monitoring  & discussing their own behavior, and utilzing their individual star charts to reflect on their behavior! I encourage the discussions refelecting on their day, at home too!
